Agriculture & Green Scheme
The RCT Agriculture & Green Scheme is a comprehensive agricultural initiative producing fresh vegetables for local markets, hosting annual Rehoboth Agriculture/Livestock Expos (N$95,000 in 2021; N$175,000 in 2022), and delivering hands-on field training in potato cultivation, horticulture, and smallstock breeding. The planned 40 ha Grootvlak Irrigation Scheme — a N$20 million partnership — aims to transform food security for the region.

The Trust invested N$175,000 in the Rehoboth Agriculture and Livestock Expo 2022 — the largest single expo investment to date. The event grew to attract participants and exhibitors from across the Hardap region, celebrating local agriculture and livestock farming.

40 ha Grootvlak Irrigation Scheme — Food Security Initiative
The Trust conducted a feasibility study (N$30,000) for the landmark 40-hectare Grootvlak Irrigation Scheme. Phase 2 of the project is a N$20 million partnership with local farmers and the Rehoboth Town Council, aimed at establishing a large-scale food security and income-generation initiative for the Rehoboth community.
